Research and priorities
I review your current visibility, competitors and the searches that matter to your services. That creates a practical order of work instead of a generic checklist.
Independent SEO consultant · Glasgow
I help small and local businesses improve how they are found, understood and chosen online. You work directly with me, Ebrahim, from the first review through to implementation and measurement.
I provide practical SEO services for Glasgow small businesses, including local, technical and on-page improvements.
What I can help with
Good search work starts with understanding what your customers need and whether your website gives them a clear answer. I focus on changes that support real enquiries, not a long list of impressive-looking but unhelpful rankings.
I review your current visibility, competitors and the searches that matter to your services. That creates a practical order of work instead of a generic checklist.
I improve service pages, headings, internal links and local signals so people can quickly understand what you offer and where you work.
I check crawling, indexing, page speed, mobile usability and important site signals. Recommendations are explained plainly and tied to a clear reason.
A clear route forward
Good SEO is not about randomly adding keywords or publishing content for the sake of it. I first understand your business, identify the strongest opportunities and work through the changes in a sensible order.
We start with your business, not a generic checklist. I learn which services, products and locations matter most, who you want to reach and what a valuable enquiry or sale means to you.
I review titles, headings, page structure, mobile use, indexation and internal links. Where available, I also use Search Console and review the journey to an enquiry, booking or checkout.
I compare real search terms, local results and competitor visibility with your existing pages. The aim is not to cram phrases everywhere; it is to make sure the right page answers the right search, including map-pack opportunities where relevant.
Not every issue deserves attention at once. I put technical problems, important service or category pages, local signals, wording, internal links, conversion improvements and measurement in an order based on likely value.
I can implement agreed changes, work with your developer or provide a clear action plan. One-off optimisation strengthens the foundations. Ongoing support uses new search data to keep improving worthwhile opportunities, rather than changing pages just to look busy.
I monitor organic clicks and page performance, then measure phone and email clicks, successful forms, bookings or ecommerce sales where tracking allows. That evidence helps decide what to test or prioritise next.
Build First. Boost Second.
Strengthen the foundations, measure what works and then build on the results.
Who EbiSEO suits
EbiSEO is a good fit if you run a small service business, want more relevant enquiries and are willing to improve the substance of your website. I can be especially useful when you need a clear plan but do not want the layers or overhead of a large agency.
I work across local and professional services, with a dedicated approach for trades businesses. The work is still shaped around your market rather than forced into a fixed package.
When I may not be the right fit
I will not promise a number-one position, invent reviews or recommend activity simply to make a report look busy. Search results depend on competition, the starting point and many factors no consultant controls.
This may not be the right service if you need guaranteed rankings, instant results or a large outsourced content operation. It is also difficult to make useful progress when nobody can approve website changes or answer basic questions about the business.
If I do not think I can help responsibly, I will say so. That is more useful than selling work with no convincing purpose.
Common questions
There is no universal deadline. Technical fixes can be completed quickly, but search engines need time to recrawl pages and competition affects how fast visibility changes. For many small businesses, meaningful movement is measured over months rather than days. I will explain the early indicators worth watching without presenting them as guaranteed results.
Organic search builds a foundation you own: useful pages, clearer structure and a stronger local presence. Paid ads can create faster exposure, but the traffic stops when spending stops. The right balance depends on your goals and budget. My view is to fix the foundations first, then use advertising deliberately where it adds value.
A one-off review or project can suit a defined problem, a new site or a business able to complete the recommendations internally. Ongoing support makes more sense when competitors are active, services change or you want regular improvement and measurement. I will recommend the lighter option when that is enough.
A personal alternative
EbiSEO provides a direct, hands-on alternative to a traditional SEO agency. You work with me from the initial review and research to implementation and reporting. There are no account-manager layers; EbiSEO is not presented as a team.
Meet EbrahimSearch visibility is a long-term improvement process, not a switch I pretend to flip. I’ll explain what looks worthwhile, what can wait and what I can’t responsibly promise.
